Our content strategy work
We’ve helped several companies create strategies for improving and reusing their content.
Here are a few examples:
IMPLEMENTING CONTENT REUSE
We consulted with Trane ‘s Content Management team to develop a content management strategy including a content reuse strategy, information architecture, new content structures, metadata, business rules and workflow.
BUILDING A COLLABORATIVE WIKI
As part of a project to move the Foresters intranet to a collaborative wiki, we worked with a team put together by Blended Perspectives to develop a strategy to improve and restructure the content before moving it to the wiki.
DEVELOPING PERSONAS
Genetec’s technical writing team wanted to explore content reuse opportunities and redesign the structure of their manuals. We led them through a facilitated content strategy session, and helped them to develop personas to inform the structure of the manuals, and their content reuse strategy.
ALIGNING CONTENT
Working with the Devlin digital design and development agency, we created a content strategy for Royal Canin’s website redesign, aligning content with Royal Canin’s business goals and resolving content and structural inconsistencies.
RESOLVING ISSUES
CDS’ Information Design & Documentation Department knew they wanted to start with content first when they decided to implement a content management system. We helped them create a strategy, focusing on identifying content reuse opportunities and resolving content usability issues.
